Music Idaho has grown out of the work of Boise All-ages Movement Project to further address widespread needs of the music ecosystem within Idaho. 

Cofounders of Boise All-ages Movement Project celebrate that, through our direct work, Boise is three all ages venues richer since our founding (Treefort Music Hall, Shrine Social Club, Boise Rock School’s new venue space). In addition, with indirect support, Boise has welcomed more all ages spaces for music over the last several years: Realms, Lounge at the End of The Universe, Mad Swede, Lost Grove, and more.    

Recognizing continued needs for advocacy and development of the music sector in Idaho, Boise All-ages Movement Project has evolved its mission by launching Music Idaho. Music Idaho’s focus will include a wider representation of organizational stakeholders with a goal of identifying key issues facing the music ecosystem with the goal of implementing strategies to make sure musicians, music workers, and music businesses can thrive in Idaho.
